What issue does your project address, and why do you want to tackle it?
Water utilities face the challenge of managing their infrastructure efficiently, preventing pipe breaks, and using their budgets in a targeted manner. The lack of accurate condition data makes reliable planning difficult. The fluidbot robot enables data-based inspection of pipe networks, combining visual inspections, wall thickness measurements, and water parameter recording. This ensures security of supply and precise budget planning.
What is your project about and how does it make Switzerland water-wise?
Our project at fluidbot AG aims to revolutionize the inspection and maintenance of water infrastructure in Switzerland. We offer a two-component solution: an autonomous inspection robot and an advanced software platform.
